Amending task three

This are the details about my own music magazine that i will be creating.

Price of magazine is £2.10
I chose £2.10 because it is around the middle of the other magazines price.
I've changed to £2.20 then £3.10 because i lowered the amount of pages in the magazine so thought it was too dear for that much money. £2.20 is a good fair price for a magazine and i think that more people will buy it because its more affordable and worth it.

Frequency of publication is Every fortnight
I said every fortnight because it shows that the information is new and updated every fourteen days.
Ive kept it as every fortnight because people might want to know the updates with celebrities without missing out anything if it was monthly as the magazine wont be able to fit a whole months worth of information in. Not many things may happen in a week so i weekly issue might not be so interesting and not many people will be able to afford a issue every week.

Average issue size is 56 pages
I chose 56 pages because it gives quite alot of pages for the amount of money.
Ive changed to 56 pages from 99 because i think that there wasnt enough good and interesting information that would interest my audience. There isnt alot of celebrity information or feature articles that would be useful and grab the readers attention as it is only 2 weeks worth of information. There is the right amount of information that the readers really care about.

I changed, added and took away some of the regular content for different reasons. I changed some of the names of the contents because they didnt sound very interesting. I added some content because i think that the magazine needed more that the readers could look forward to in each issue and so that its more fun and entertaining. I took away some content as i didnt feel like they were necessary and didnt sound like they would be any good or worth looking at. I changed some of the content didnt fit in with the music genre and more of a general magazine so i had to take it out or change it around.

Once again i changed, added and took away some content. I changed some of these feature articles as they didnt sound appealing or something that they would care about on their favourite celebrities. I also gave them abit more appealing names with a hint of what they're going to be about. Some of the content wasnt allowed as it didnt fit into the pop genre so i changed the name around to more pop style for example "Miley Cyrus new clothing line!" got changed to "More Miley less Hannah". I did this because the first one was about clothes which doesnt fit in with music and the second one was about the different types of music that Miley Cyrus does. I added some because the magazine needed more content that was knew and was more interesting to find out. I chose the names of the articles as in my research questionnaires these were my target audiences favourite celebrities. This means there is more chance that they will buy it to read about their favourite celebrity. I deleted some because they story lines werent so interesting and there wasnt alot of information about the subject that the audience will want to read about. Also they didnt really fit into the pop genre for example "Clubland goes live!". Some of the old content fitted into the regular contents for example "Michael Buble albulm review" fitted into "Cd reviews".

Distribution: Newsagents and supermarkets
Rationale: Popworld is a magazine for all young teenagers that want to know what’s going on in the world. It will offer celebrity interviews and articles, information and gossip on teenagers themselves and competitions.
Style: The magazine will be informal. There will be humour but no strong comments on any of the content in the magazine. The magazine is for young teenagers so there will be no bad language, simple vocabulary, clear font and some slang.
