• Awards they’ve got
 Four Top 10 hits top singles
 MTV have just nominated them for Best New UK Act alongside the likes of LaRoux and Florence & The Machine.
• Who are they
 Formed in Britain in 2008
 Girl’s Aloud record label Polyder brought them together
 5 young girls
 Dedicate all their time to their music
 A new girl band
 Hope to reach the top of the charts without any catfights or big famous boyfriends
• What they do
 Since their debut last summer they have had more hits than any other girl group in the land

• Their band name
 Kept their own names
 Didn’t want a typical girlband name
 Saturday is their favourite day of the week

 They didn’t want a reference of girls in their name

 Frankie Sandford and Rochelle Wiseman used to be part of S club 8 (juniors)-prepared them

 They say that they are a proper, full-on girl band and they love it

 Impulse asked them to sponsor them
 “Impulse is what we represent. We’re always on the go so it’s good for us- it’s a quick fix. They approached us and it’s always a good sign that you’re doing well when that happens. We were just really honoured to do it.”

 They have had some harsh critism
 The way that the manager dresses them is described as inappropriate and too revealing- The Saturdays disagree
