Task seventeen ( music )

I have now got all the results to the questionnaires and have tallied them up so i could put them into graphs. This is to show in more detail what people thought about my products in full detail. I have also gave a conclusion to give more details and what each one could mean.

The program that i used made the text not noticeable so you must click the pie charts to be able to see it.

Front cover

1. What do you like about my front cover?



Conclusion: The audience thought that the colours and effects standing out made the front cover look the most attractive and pretty. They also show that more people recognised the front cover because of the colours and effects.

2. What do you dislike?



Conclusion: Over half of the public didn’t think that my front cover had anything wrong with it and the others only had problems with the cover lines.

3. What do you think I could have improved on?



Conclusion: Just under half of the audience didn’t think that I needed to improve anything. Though I got advice that I should have improved the cover lines and added more content

4. Do you think my front cover looks professional?



Conclusion: Everyone said that they did think my front cover looked professional.

5. Do you think it has a good choice of colours?



Conclusion: Everyone said that they did think I had used a good choice of colours.

6. Do you think it is laid out well?



Conclusion: Most people said that my front cover was laid out well whilst another thought that it could have been more set out properly.

7. What would you rate my front cover out of 10?

8. What do you like about my contents page?



Conclusion: The audience thought that the contents page was colourful and bright and that these features were what made it more outstanding and attractive. They are all about what the magazine looks like and how they are made attractive to the audience.

9. What do you dislike?



Conclusion: Over half didn’t think there was anything wrong with the contents page and the other opinions were based on the writing and how they thought it was a bit squished.


10. What do you think I could have improved on?



Conclusion: Around three quarters of the audience didn’t see fault in my magazine contents page so they couldn’t see any need for improvement whereas there was an opinion that I should have made more room. This would have improved the appearance.

11. Do you think my contents page looks professional?



Conclusion: Most people said that my contents page did look professional whereas others disagreed thinking there were features that didn’t make it look professional.

12. Do you think it has a good choice of colours?



Conclusion: Everyone said that they did think I had used a good choice of colours.

13. Do you think it is laid out well?



Conclusion: Most people said that my contents page was laid out well but some disagreed and stated that they think it could have been laid out differently to look better.

14. What would you rate my contents page out of 10?



Conclusion: The two highest ratings from the audience are 8 and 9 and I never got lower than 7 once again which is good because it shows that the contents page was useful and good meaning that more people are more likely to buy it. Overall the score was 41 out of 50 which is more than three quarters.

Triple page spread

15. What do you like about my triple page spread?



Conclusion: The audience thought that the background behind the images made the triple page spread look the best and more attractive. This means that it was more attractively effective. The other factors are all about what they look like which means that the appearance is the most looked at and cared about factor.

16. What do you dislike?



Conclusion: The problems were mostly about the text being terrible sizes which I should improve more. They also said though that some of them didn’t think there was anything they didn’t like which is good as it shows that some of the magazine must be good.

17. What do you think I could have improved on?



Conclusion: Everyone gave different opinions but every opinion was based on the text which means that people thought that the rest was okay but found the text could be improved.

18. Do you think my triple page spread looks professional?



Conclusion: Everyone said that my triple page spread did look professional.

19. Do you think it has a good choice of colours?



Conclusion: Everyone said that they thought I had used a good choice of colours.

20. Do you think it is laid out well?



Conclusion: Everyone said that I had laid it out right.

21. What would you rate my triple page spread out of 10?



Conclusion: The highest rating from the audience was 8 which is very good because it is a high rating and shows that It has been doing well and I never got lower than the 8 which is good because it shows that the contents page was the best, useful and that there wasn’t many improvements needed as they found it quite good already. Overall the score was 41 out of 50 which is more than three quarters.

Most of my results could have more than 5 answers because some gave more than one opinion for the question which I made sure I also noted because it gives more explanation and help on what I could do better and what I done well. The front cover got the best score as it got an overall 42 out of 50 though the contents page and triple page spread was only one mark behind.


Altogether

22. Out of 10 what would you rate my products altogether?



Conclusion: The highest rating from the audience was 9 which shown that my products were pretty good and were quite well made to get such a high rating. This also shows that people were interested in my magazine and were more likely to buy it. It has been doing well and I never got lower than 8 meaning that nobody thought as it as rubbish or not interesting that they wouldn’t want to read. Overall the score was 43 out of 50 which is more than three quarters.

23. Out of 10 what would you rate my products altogether?



Conclusion: My effort got quite high ratings which is good because it is telling me that people thought I had put a lot of thought into the product to make it the way it is. If they think that I have put a lot of effort into it then they could think that they could tell through the products. The highest rating from the audience was 10 which is very good because it is the highest rating which shows that it got full marks making it look good. I never got lower than the 9 which is good as it’s the second highest rating that I could have got. Overall the score was 47 out of 50 which is three marks off the highest score.

24. What product do you think I did the best on?



Conclusion: Most people thought that my front cover was the best out of them and got more votes and my triple page spread also got some votes whereas the contents page wasn’t any of their favourites.


25. Why?

Conclusion: On the front cover people thought that the why it was laid out and the appearance are what made it look the best and what made it look more effective. These are the reasons it was chosen to be the best product.

Triple page spread:



Conclusion: On the triple page spread people thought that the why it was laid out and the appearance were also what made it look the best and what made it look more effective. These should be looked at more on the contents page because they keep coming up which means that it’s important to the audience.
